The first event of our Summer of Sailing 2024, the Royal Ocean Racing Club Cervantes Trophy, is now just one month away! With limited spaces remaining, get in touch with us today to secure your spot. 

 

Taking place on the weekend of 19-23 April 2024, the Cervantes Trophy race is a fantastic offshore challenge that sees hundreds of boats from all over the world converge on the start line off Cowes, Isle of Wight. From here, the race heads out of the Solent before turning south and crossing The Channel towards the French port of Le Havre.  

 

With no prior sailing experience required, participants will sail on board a Clipper 68 yacht, providing a hands-on, big boat racing experience under the guidance of our professional Skippers and Mates.

The'ready-to-race' package includes:

Cervantes Trophy entry and berth on board Clipper 68 race yacht
Professional Race Skipper, First and Second Mates, berthing and insurance
All coded on board safety equipment including lifejacket
Use of Musto BR2 technical wet weather gear
Pre-race sail training day and pre-race team Dinner ashore
All food, soft drinks (whilst on-board)

If you are new to sailing, don't worry, this race are open to sailors of all abilities and experience and there is a training day built into all Clipper Events RORC packages.
